#BlackGirlMagic: Jessica Williams

Happy Tuesday! Did you enjoy your 4th of July weekend? Hubby and I ate and vegged and ate some more while  marathon watching Friday Night Lights…(why didn’t y’all tell me about this show? It’s amazing!) It rained a lot and we were thankful for a valid excuse to be hermit crabs at home with our dog just enjoying each other.

Today’s #BlackGirlMagic feature is Jessica Williams of The Daily Show who is now set to headline her own 30 minute show for Comedy Central! I’ve been following this beautiful young girl on social media from the first time I saw her on the The Daily Show as the youngest correspondent to ever work on the show. And now she’ll be the youngest correspondent to leave. For her own show! Entertainment Weekly describes her new pilot as ” “a politically-minded young woman who may be ‘woke’ but doesn’t know what she’s doing,”. She’s also set to star in an upcoming romantic comedy. She’s pure magic, I want her twists, and I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve!
