Paper Bag Pants + Pink Flounce Top

Happy Wednesday Loves!

I hope all of you have had amazing weeks so far! Hubby shot today’s look where I styled (my new faves!), paper bag pants + pink flounce top at one of our favorite parks in our city. We’d shot maybe 2 or 3 looks when a party bus transporting an entire wedding party stopped within a few feet of us and dropped everyone off.  We immediately had to decide between finishing the shoot or moving elsewhere. I can’t lie, I was caught off guard! But my husband encouraged me to stay focused.  We  improvised and used the sidewalks on either side of the road a bit further down from where we started and I loved the results. Fellow bloggers, have you had to get creative in the middle of a shoot due to circumstances beyond your control?

It’s just like anything in life, when you get lemons, you can either whine about it or make some lemonade and that’s just what we did.

My friends at Hush Puppies sent me these fabulous sandals and I’m sure you can notice that they have heels! Higher heels than I normally feel comfortable wearing and walking in. But these sandals immediately cleared up any nervousness I had about fit and comfort as soon as I slipped them on. The soft genuine leather lining and foam foot bed provided me with flexibility and stability. Add that on top of how cute and stylish these sandals are, and you have one happy girl! Paper Bag Pants:

One of the many reasons I love paper bag pants are because of how flattering and forgiving they are. They cinch in your waist to add shape yet they are forgiving. You can tuck in a t-shirt and go or add a flounced top like I have in this look. This waistline adds detail and really breathes new life into the usual top and pants look.
