Black Midi Dress with Old Navy

Happy Wednesday loves! If you know me, then you know what my go to summer look is. That’s right, you guessed it, DRESSES! This black midi dress from Old Navy is so classic and fun that I had to have it! The lightweight textured fabric is perfect for a date night, shopping with friends, and super easy to pack for your next vacation. I adore the subtle lace crochet neckline and the belt that cinches in my waist for shape. I usually stray away from black but fell in love with this dress.

Quite a few of you have asked me to share more work inspired looks so I will be sharing more of those on the blog. This dress is sophisticated yet fresh, and can still be worn to work with a denim jacket. The denim jacket will give you a more polished look at work.  If you’re headed to happy hour after you get off of work, you can just tie that denim jacket around your waist like I did in this look. Old Navy’s Natural Beauties Collection has so many fun pieces, and I’ve also been eyeing their flowing dresses, light denims, and linens.

I styled this dress with a straw panama hat because it’s exactly how I’d wear it on vacation. (clearly, I think I need another vacay!) Old Navy drew inspiration from global influences including the ivory coast with its soft, natural textures, and geometric prints. I styled a vintage bag and brown sandals with a statement necklace and sunglasses.
