Peekaboo Green Statement Top + Skinny Jeans

Happy Wednesday loves! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and this week has been treating you fabulously. In my last post, I talked about how my Hubby and I were decorating our new house and embarking on several home improvement projects. Why didn’t y’all tell me how fun home decor can be?! I’ve been bitten by the bug and there’s no turning back. I have been decorating our home for Fall and already eyeing Christmas decor, someone send help!

Now onto today’s outfit, I styled the prettiest peekaboo green statement top and skinny jeans. The statement top has been my go to this summer, here, here, and here. I’ve seen them styled various ways, with jeans, skirts, and shorts. It’s an effortless way of taking an otherwise simple look to the next level. Tops like these can stand the test of time as your style evolves in each season of life. My goal is to build a wardrobe of pieces that I can wear year after year in a new way. Though it can be tempting, I’m less focused on acquiring the latest trends these days.

I styled my dark skinny jeans with this peekaboo green statement top. I chose to cuff the sleeves of my jeans to accentuate my block heeled sandals. My bamboo bag and round over sized sunglasses completed this fall transitional look.
