Thank you Target Style for sponsoring this post. All opinions shared are my own!
Hi, Loves! Some of you may or may not know that I am a product junkie. Much to my husband’s dismay, I am constantly on the hunt to find my staple and Holy Grail products. Summer can be hard as well as drying on my natural hair, so it is imperative that the products I use in my hair build and maintain moisture.
If you love Target as much as I do, you know they have something stylish for you to try out every time you enter. This month, it’s all about hair. Hair Food products are new at Target, and I was thrilled to get to try them out just in time for summer! Hair Food is inspired by the nutrition found in power foods to fuel your beauty routine and revitalize your hair. They are also free of parabens, gluten, mineral oils, and dyes.
I was especially interested in testing out Hair Food’s Moisture Cleansing Conditioner infused with Honey Apricot and their new Hair Milk Shampoo and Conditioner with jasmine and vanilla. The two times I washed my hair with the Moisture Cleansing Shampoo and Hair Milk Shampoo, I was pleasantly surprised that my hair didn’t feel completely stripped of its softness and moisture, and that it felt fresh and clean. After both times washing my hair, I followed up with the Hair Milk conditioner, and my hair felt so soft and hydrated and it really made my curls POP! Another thing I loved was the size of the large bottle with a pump for easier use and control when your hands are wet. For all my natural-haired readers, I definitely think Target’s Hair Food is worth a try if you are seeking new products that maintain the moisture in your hair.
While I didn’t have the opportunity to sample the Hair Food Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner or Volume Dry Shampoo, they are worth a try if your hair is color treated or you like to stretch time in between washes. You can purchase Hair Food at your local Target or on Target.com/Beauty.
What are your do’s and don’ts of summer hair care?

June 7, 2016I REALLY like the Hair Food Honey Apricot mask, but I recently purchased the Color Protect Shampoo for a wig and it turned out to have sulfates! I was pretty disappointed in that because they’re paraben and lots of other stuff free. Glad you liked them though!

June 8, 2016I liked the conditioner best! it made my curls really soft! I already have a holy grail shampoo but for those that don’t mind sulfates, they may like it!
