Happy Monday Loves! Today we are talking about one of my favorite accessories: the Head-Wrap! Once spring and summer hits, my head-wraps begin replacing my love of the wide brim hat in my closet. Head-wraps are conversation starters and statement makers. But they also serves a stylish way to conceal a bad lazy hair day or protective style. I’ve received so many questions asking how I style and wear my head-wraps so this post is long overdue and I am excited to share it with you today!
1. Tie it in a Bow
Step 1. Fold the head-wrap in half and place it at the bottom of your neck.
Step 2. Pull both ends of the scarf upwards to the front.
Step 3. Tie the head-wrap into a double knot at the center or side of your head, whichever you prefer.
Step 4. Tuck the ends of the scarves by tucking them into the sides of the scarf or within the flaps of the bow.

2. Top-Knot
My hair aside from my bangs are tucked away in a bantu knot style.
Step 1. Fold the head-wrap around the back of your head and bring the two sides upwards towards the front and into a knot in the front.
Step 2. Twist both ends of the head-wrap around and around as loosely or as tight as you are comfortable with, until it forms one large piece.
Step 3. Loop the fabric around itself in the center into a large top knot and tuck the ends.

3. Minnie Mouse
My hair aside from my bangs are tucked away in a bantu knot style.
Step 1. I place the head-wrap around the bottom of my head towards the nape of my neck and pull the two sides upwards to the front.
Step 2. Then I tie the wrap into a knot at the center (or in my case, to the side) Fold the fabric into two halves over each other until it creates a large bow.
Step 3. Hide the ends of the two halves of the wrap by tucking them into the flaps of the bow or under the sides of the bottom of the scarf.

June 16, 2016All 3 of these looks are so much fun, and I love all your colorful accents! I kind of forget about accessories when it comes to my hair–I tend to get in a rut and wear it the same way all the time. Thanks for the inspiration to try something new!
