Happy Valentine’s Day loves! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend leading into the week. I wanted to make sure I shared a festive pink Valentine’s Day inspired look for you all. If you are celebrating like my Hubby and I tonight, you will be wearing something very different than this. I’m talking heart printed pj’s and fuzzy socks. We are staying in to cook for each other tonight, and plan to share our favorite bottle of wine while watching a movie. But if you happen to be heading out with your love for a date night or with your girls tonight (or this weekend), then this look will be perfect for you.
I’ve styled one of my favorite bright pink vintage blazers with a striped button up casually tucked into my jeans. And if you’re going to do it up for Valentine’s Day, then you may as well as make it jazzy. So I wore my leopard loafers, threw a faux fur stole over my blazer and added tassel earrings and a chunky gold necklace for some excitement. This look is comfortable yet stylish. Perfect for a dinner date, the movies, or going out to a comedy club for drinks with your best girlfriends.
Please don’t put a lot of pressure on yourselves to make this day some kind of scene from a movie. Movies aren’t real life and Valentine’s Day is just one day out of the year. So set realistic expectations for yourself that whatever you do today, you’re surrounded by love and laughter and that you keep that rolling throughout the year.
